MY WORLD ROX
Donna Lingard, Self Published Author,
has given kids the inspiration and opportunity to reveal their secrets
to coping with many of life’s situations and experiences, and the
chance to share their visions on how to be the best they can be with what
they have, in her exciting upcoming new book MY
WORLD ROX for the young teenager. Her second book in the
series focuses on older teenagers/young adults and is entitled MY
WORLD RULZ.
Donna says, “Working with children in schools and listening to lots
of negative comments, about our world and themselves, made her stop one
day and ask the Question, What can I do to make this generation of kids
see the world and themselves in a more positive light“
It was then that Donna had a vision
to Inspire teenagers to Create Achieve and Live their Dreams. To Live
in Love and Peace in Our World. Four years ago, Donna began her journey
to Create Achieve and Live her Dream. She started interviewing students,
asking questions and finding out what kids thought and felt, and how they
could offer something to their peers about making life the best it can
be. The journey has bought many challenges, learnings, much excitement,
and a roller coaster of emotions, including lots of laughs and tears.
The book was conceived. A book
of personal inspirational quotes, supplied by the youth themselves. Along
with her own Power of Words of Wisdom, Donna began compiling their words
to share with teenagers all around the world. Topics such as Emotions,
Friendship, Parents, Family, Education, Life, Money and many other issues
confronting kids and young adults came up.
From this came the idea to raise
funds from a portion of the proceeds of her amazing inspirational books
and powow cards, to support a scholarship program for youth. To enhance
the lives of young adults, via self development programs to support their
needs in career and personal life experiences.
“I am so grateful for the
opportunities this fabulous world has given to me and now I am able to
reciprocate by giving a little inspiration.” Donna commented.
