Donna lives on the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, Australia with her awesome husband Wayne and fabulous teenage children Kyal, 18 and Kelsie, 15.

Her family enjoys netball, soccer, surfing, the beach, swimming, shopping, yoga, snow skiing, travelling when they can, and generally hanging out having a good time with family and friends. Most importantly though making the most of every opportunity that presents.

We are continually learning from experimenting with and surviving life in general.

When choosing what to do in her life there are some factors Donna takes into consideration.

She must:

   be challenged even a little
   be excited and get a serious tingling in the tummy
   take a journey (it may include travel, it may be an inner journey)
   love and learn something from every experience
   give something back to the community, even in some small way
   feel warm and fuzzy for having achieved something valuable no
     matter how small or large the process

Donna chose to travel overseas, invest in property, be a business entrepreneur, try all kinds of careers, marry the man of her dreams and have a family and most recently become a best selling author. All for the reasons she does anything in her life. To be challenged, excited, to give and share something valuable, to love and learn something from the experiences. The journeys she has taken, have achieved all of the above and more.

When asked, "How do you know you are living your dream?" she replies:

   My tummy tingles with excitement every time I talk to my dream
     team about My World Inspired books and other gifts. Or even if
     I think about it I feel warm and fuzzy because I know I am going
     to make a difference and impact in some way on people lives.
   My family and friends are proud and excited when I ask for
     their opinions.
   I laugh when I chat with my editor to discuss the mistakes in
     my text.
   My graphic design and illustrating team, each time I get a new
     design idea, or an illustration or a page comes to fruition.
   Tears well, when kids give me such positive comments about
     the books.
   When I feel each step come closer I know I am in my dream
